2022 Obama’s Summer Playlist features Burna Boy, Tems, & Pheelz

Barack Obama’s famous summer playlists are back and Burna Boy, Tems and Pheelz are on the list for 2022. 

The popularity of Afrobeats, Nigeria’s most popular musical export, is spreading throughout the globe, and several artists from the movement, including Burna Boy, Tems, and Pheelz, have been included on former U.S. President Barack Obama’s summer playlist for 2022.

The playlist entries was released on Twitter by the former president himself on the 26th of July. This, he says, is proof that music has the power to unite people.
