INSTITUTE OF SPACE SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING is a one-of-a-kind postgraduate institute established to meet the growing demand for space scientific knowledge and inventions in Nigeria and the African continent as a whole. In general, the Institute consists of the Department of Space Science and the Department of Aerospace Engineering Systems, both of which offer programmes based on specialised studies in Space Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Computerization, and Technology Innovations that lead to Master of Science (MSc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees.

The Institute of Space Science and Engineering (ISSE), an affiliate of the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja and the National Space Research and Development Agency’s Obasanjo Space Centre in Abuja, has invited interested and qualified candidates to apply for admission into the center’s approved postgraduate academic programmes.

The ISSE is an accredited Institute affiliated with the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) Abuja, with approved Postgraduate programmes are as follows:

Institute of Space Science and Engineering (ISSE) Admission Requirements

• Please note that ONLY candidates with a minimum of SECOND CLASS UPPER (2:1) in a relevant undergraduate degree will be considered for admission into any of the MSc programmes, in addition to satisfactory performance in an entrance examination.
• For admission into the PhD programmes, only candidates with relevant undergraduate and postgraduate degrees or qualifications will be considered.

Note: A mandatory application processing fee of N10,000.00 payable online or through bank transfer details on the AUST website is required before any application can be processed.
